Niagara Falls from Three Sisters

On three sisters island in fresh November air
We hiked toward the shore and found a rocky chair
Soaked up the ambience on the river above
Niagara Falls!, we fell in love

Watched the flowing waters rapidly speed
Toward the roar of the falls, they proceed
Just a few meters on, the violent cliff waits
Thunderous sprays high above, pulsate

Fall colours on bushes adorned the island
Quiet, peaceful sounds were inland
Thoughts of these siblings playing among the trees
Many years ago, their memories now history
